When Puck received the confirmation, he'd likewise spent a few hours putting the finishing touches on things. There were no illusions cast to make his cottage feel like a pizza parlor or anything, but the atmosphere in his cottage continued to be welcoming.
He grinned at the knock pattern and opened the door with a, "Good evening, Mikey. Come in!". Once the other was inside, the door was closed and locked like normal. Puck's cottage was cozy- various books on his coffee table, and different furniture in each room. A couch to lay on, a high backed chair in a corner, half covered with blankets; a small pile of books on the table next to the chair. The dining area was simply a round kitchen table near the kitchen itself, with some plates and cups already set out for the evening. Overall the space was meant to be both warm and inviting but also functional. Puck loved decorating as much as the next fae.
The kitchen was a little more utilitarian- not as much decorating since it was a space for making food, but there were still signs that it was used and cared for. The appliances were modern enough, ones that Puck had used before, but not state of the art. But they also didn't need to be state of the art to simply work.
There was a piece of paper on one of the counters with Pizza guide scrawled on the top in a fancy hand, followed by a recipe below it with smaller notes on seasoning, cook times, and topping ideas.
He smiled to Mikey and gestured to his living room. "Make yourself comfortable, I was just finishing getting the tomatoes into a pot of water for the sauce." Sure enough, a large pot held a decent amount of tomatoes, all scored to prevent exploding, the water starting to simmer. "Would you like some snacks until it's time to start?"
